Chocolate Tortilla

I am sure all of you know Tortilla bread. This flat and thin bread is similar to one of Iranian naan breads which is called Lavash. So Today I treated my family with chocolate lavash (or chocolate tortilla). A simple but yet sooooooooooo good 😊🍣

I love and love chocolate but In the following recipe I did not use any melted chocolate or Nutella. Because there are thousands of additives in the chocolate. So I just used coca powder and made a lovely mixture with Tahini and honey.

It is really amazing and tasty. Of course you can have a plain chocolate tortilla but I added slices of banana, pomegranate seeds and ….

It is super easy to prepare it, I mean in less than 10 minutes you can make such a tempting dessert for parties or family gathering.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 Lavash naan bread (or Tortilla bread)
  • 1tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3tbsp tahini
  • 2tbsp honey
  • 1 banana, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Mandarin orange
  • 1tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • Few raspberries, chopped
  • Handful almond, or pistachio, crushed

How to make it?????

In a bowl add cocoa powder, honey, and tahini. Mix well together and set aside.

Place a pan on the stove and heat the pan over low heat. Place one slice of Lavash bread in the pan and warm the bread up. Then flip over the naan and allow both sides to get warm.

Remove the bread from the pan and spread all the coca mixture on the bread with a little distance from the bread edges.

Then place it back again into the pan and spread banana slices, pomegranate seeds, raspberries and chopped nuts all over top of the bread. The Chocolate Tortilla is ready. Cut it into slices and serve it.

لواش شکلاتی

نان تورتیا یا تورتیلا از نظر ظاهری خیلی شبیه به نان لواش خودمون هست ولی در سایز کوچک تر. امروز من با تورتیا یک دسر خوشمزه درست کردم . شاید خیلی هاتون بگید اه اه اه شکلات روی نون لواش یعنی چی ؟ ؟؟؟ ولی باور کنین اگر یک موقع درست کردید و خوردید می بینید واقعن خوشمزه هست. اصلن اون چیزی که فکر می کنید نیست .
طرز تهیه نان لواش شکلاتی به‌قدری ساده هست که باورتون نمیشه و در عین حال فوق العاااااااااااااااده خوشمزه.
من شخصن عاشق شکلات هستم ولی در دستور امروز بجای استفاده از شکلات یا ناتلا که برای تهیه اشون از دهها مواد افزودنی استفاده شده من از پودر کاکائو استفاده کردم و از ترکیب پودر کاکائو با ارده و عسل یک مخلوط محشر درست کردم که تا امتحان نکنید باورتون نمیشه چقدر خوشمزه میشه.
از میوه‌های مختلف می تونید برای روی نان شکلاتی استفاده کنید و حتی می تونید ساده نگهش دارید و فقط شکلات رو روی نان پخش کنید.
نکته مهم دیگه این هست که این دسر خوشمزه رو میشه فقط در عرض 5 دقیقه تهیه کرد.

مواد لازم

نان لواش

یک ق غ پودر کاکائو

سه ق غ ارده

دو ق غ عسل

یک عدد موز حلقه حلقه شده

یکی دو حبه نارنگی از وسط نصف شده

یک ق غ دانه انار

چند دانه تمشک یا توت فرنگی خرد شده

یک ق غ فندق – گردو یا پسته خرد شده

طرز تهیه

داخل یک پیاله پودر کاکائو را با عسل و ارده خوب مخلوط کنید. یک تابه را روی گاز قرار داده و گرم کنید . نان لواش را داخل تابه قرار داده و گرم کنید و سپس نان را پشت ورو کنیدتا هر دو روی نان گرم و نرم شود.

حالا نان را از تابه بیرون آورده و شکلات را روی نان پخش کنید بطوریکه کمی فاصله با لبه نان داشته باشد.

نان شکلاتی را دوباره داخل تابه با حرارت کم بگذارید. در این مرحله موزهای خردشده – تمشک – انار و پسته را روی شکلات پخش کنید.

همین. خیلی فوری و آسان. نان شکلاتی را مثل پیتزا برش داده و نوش جان کنید.

Falafel

Falafel is one the most favourite fast foods in the Middle East. Falafel is an Arabic word,and plural ‘ filfil’ meaning “pepper”. Falafel is a meatless food and good source of protein and suitable for vegetarians.

Originally it is spicy but in any country it has adjusted based on the taste of people. Falafel is made of chickpeas or fava beans. Egyptians make falafe with fava beans and sometimes with combination of both. But if you make with chickpeas, they should be soaked and then should be ground up or mashed and mix with beautiful spices and vegetables such as onions, garlic parsley.

Falafe serves with flat bread ( Naan ), pita bread, or Budget bread and garnished with different things such as tomato, cucumber, lettuce, fresh herbs, tahini sauce, spicy sauce, humus, chutney, garlic yogurt. Or they are just perfect on their own.
Falafel can be eaten cold or hot. This chickpea balls are mostly popular in S and SW of Iran but in other cities of country such as Tehran is very popular too.

Ingredients

  • 450 g chickpeas, soaked overnight
  • 1 1/2 tbsp  plain flour or chickpeas flour
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 large onion
  • A bunch of parsley
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2tsp cumin
  • 1tsp coriander powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil

Ingredients for mint-parsley sauce

  • 3 tbsp plain yogurt
  • Small bunch of mint and parsley
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • Salt to taste

Preparation
If you want your falafel to turn out right, you need to soak dried chickpeas overnight. So they will be double in size. Next day, drain and rinse them. Pour chickpeas into a food processor. Then add all ingredients ( except flour)  for falafel into the food processor and make smooth mixture.

 

Then add flour and   season the chickpeas mixture with all above mentioned spices. Mix all together very well. Using wet hands or a falafel scoop, form falafel mixture into round balls or oval shape. By the way,  If you wish, sprinkle some sesame seeds on each chickpeas ball too .Then place chickpea balls in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

Falafel is traditionally fried but you can bake it instead too. So bake falafel in 175 C degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
And if you want to fry falafel, add enough oil for deep frying in a deep saucepan. Place the pot over a high heat and heat the oil, then drop falafel balls in the oil and fry until brown ( 7-8 minutes).


For making sauce, you need to place all ingredients for sauce in a blender and make a smooth sauce.

 


When all falafels are fried. You can serve them plain or Wrap 3-4 of falafels in a pita bread, topping with sauce and enjoy it.

Stuffed Meat Balls With Quail Eggs

Meatballs are always popular and favourite dish. Today i made stuffed meat balls with quail eggs and Tahini sauce.

Ingredients for meat balls

250g ground beef

2 large potatoes

1 egg

2 tomatoes

quial eggs

1 clove of garlic

2 tbs dried parsley

1 tsp dried mint

1 tsp cumin

Bread crumbs

Salt – sweet chili

Butter

 

Ingredients for sauce

2 tbsp Tahini sauce

1 lemon juice

Half of garlic

1 tbs of olive oil

1 tbs of water

Preparation

Preheat the oven on 200 C. Cook quail eggs, peeled and set them aside. Place ground meat in a bowl. Add grated garlic, all spices and dried herbs. Crack the egg and add it to the meat. Mix all ingredients together.

 

Take a portion of mixture in your hand palm, flat it and put one of quail eggs in the center of the meat and give shape to the meat. Roll them in the bread crumbs and coat them. Set all meat balls in the baking tray.Place tray into the oven and let it to cook for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook boil potatoes. Peel them off and cut into small pieces. Melt the butter in a pan and Fry tomatoes. Keep potatoes and tomatoes warm for serving time.

Place tahini sauce in a bowl. Grate garlic and add it to the sauce. Add water, oil and pinch of salt as well. Combine all ingredients together and set it aside.

Place meatballs with potatoes and tomatoes in a plate and pour melted butter top of the meatballs, potatoes and tomatoes and serve with Tahini sauce.

Tahini Baklava باقلوا ارده

Hi everyone😊 hope you are all fine. In my previous posts, i have shared several different recipes for baklava. This is other type of baklava, a crunchy, dry and without sugar syrup but still is crazily tasty.This is other type of baklava , very crunchy and without sugar syrup but still is tasty.

Ingredients

  • Filo pastry sheets
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g tahini
  • 200 g unsalted butter
  • Chopped walnuts

Preparation
Preheat the oven at 180C.
Unwrap a filo sheet and brush all over the filo with melted butter. Put second filo sheet over the first one and do same with second filo sheet as well. Then, place third layer of filo sheet and brush with tahini, sprinkle sugar and then spread grounded walnuts over it. Roll it up. Cut into slices.
Place them on a baking tray, brush them with melted butter and sprinkle some sugar. Bake at 180C for 15 minutes.

باقلوا با ارده
این نوع باقلوا ترد و شکننده و بدون شهد می باشد ولی با اینحال هنوز بسیار خوشمزه هست.

مواد لازم
ورقه های خمیر یوفکا

صد گرم شکر

دویست گرم ارده

دویست گرم کره ی بدون نمک آب شده

گردوی خرد شده

طرز تهیه
فر را در 180 درجه ی سانتیگراد گرم کنید.
یک ورقه از خمیر یوفکا را باز کرده و روی آن را کره ی آب شده بزنید. ورقه ی دوم را روی اولی گذاشته و مجددن کره ی آب شده بزنید. ورقه ی سوم را روی ورقه ی دوم گذاشته و روی آن ارده را بزنید و کمی شکر بپاشید و سپس کردوی خرد شده بریزید. خمیر را بپچید و به اندازه ی دلخواه خمیر را برش دهید. تکه های باقلوا را داخل سینی فر گذاشته و روی آنها مجددن کمی کره ی آب شده و شکر بریزید.
سینی را داخل فر گذاشته و اجازه دهید به مدت 15 دقیقه بپزد.
