Hard Boiled Eggs in Cups

I love having soft or hard boil eggs for breakfast. Usually boiled eggs are eggs from chicken but duck or quail eggs also are tasty. These eggs cooked with their shells in the boiling water and you can have hard boiled eggs with cooked egg white and egg yolk or soft boiled egg which leave the yolk liquid or softly cooked.

There are different tools or gadgets for making boiled eggs. I used my small coffee cups for making boiled eggs and turned out beautiful.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 cups
  • Salt and chilli flakes to taste
  • Pinch of paprika
  • Butter
  • Olive oil or any vegetable oil

How to make it?????

Pour about 1tbsp of oil inside the each cup. Use a brush and rub the oil to the sides of the cups. Crack the eggs into each cup.

Place them in a saucepan. Pour water half way through the cups. Cover the saucepan with a lid. Allow to cook for 8-10 minutes.

While eggs are cooking, melt the butter in a pan, season with salt and chilli flakes, add some paprika which gives gorgeous red colour and tastes to the butter.

Transfer cups to a serving plate. Before trying to remove eggs from the cups, first let them cool for 1-2 minutes. Place cups upside down in a serving plat and invert.

Pour melted butter over  top  of the eggs with some fresh basil leaves and   bon appetite.

تخم آبپز فنجانی

من خودم شخصن خیلی دوست دارم تخم مرغ آبپز چه به صورت سفت یا  عسلی برای صبحونه داشته باشم. برای درست کردن تخم مرغ آبپز معممولن از تخم مرغ استفاده مییشه ولی با تخم بلدرچین – اردگ و … هم امکان داره. تخم مرغ آبپز کردن یعنی داخل یک قابلمه تخم مرغ ها رو با پوستش قرار می دیم و میگذاریم یا به صورت سفت پخته بشه که در این صورت زرده و سفید پخته میشه ویا تخم مرغ عسلی درست کرد که زرده تخم مرغ شل و آبکی خواهد بود.

وسایل و ابزار مختلفی برای درست کردن تخم مرغ آبپزهست. من امروز صبح با فنجون قهوه خوری تخم مرغ آبپز درست کردم و باسس خوشمزه ای که بهش اضافه کردم یک تخم مرغ خیلی خوشمزه و خوشرنگ درست شد.

مواد لازم

چهار تخم مرغ

چهار فنجان کوچک قهوه خوری

نمک و فلفل قرمز خشک به میزان نیاز

کمی پاپریکا

کره

روغن زیتون یا روغن مایع

طرز تهیه

داخل هر فنجان به اندازه یک ق غذاخوری روغن مایع ریخته و دیواره های فنجان ها را چرب کنید. داخل هر فنجان یک تخم مرغ شکسته و فنجان ها را داخل یک قابلمه که به اندازه چهار فنجان جا داشته باشد قرار دهید و آب به مثداری که کمتر از نصف قد فنجان را بگییرد آب اضافه کنید.

در قابلمه را گذاشته و اجازه دهید برای 10-8 دقیقه تخم مرغ ها سفت پخته شوند. در حالیکه که تخم مرغ ها در حال پختن هستن داخل یک تابه 1-2 ق غ کره یا روغن مایع ریخته و نمک و فلفل خشک و پاپریکا اضافه کرده و 1 دقیقه تفت دهید. پاپریکا رنگ و طعم خیلی خوشی به کره آب شده می دهد.

فنجانها را به صورت پشت و رو داخل بشقاب قرار داده و آن‌ها را بیرون بیاورید.

سس کره را روی تخم مرغ ها ریخته و با نان تست و ریحان سرو کنید.

Persian Saffron (Zafaran) sharbat  شربت زعفرانی

Saffron is one the most expensive and luxurious spices in the world but it’s taste, flavour and giving yellow- orange colouring to the foods is worth the price. Saffron has amazing flavour, some say it’s like honey, some say it’s floral but I say it’s just saffroni.

Iran is one of the most important places for cultivation and export of saffron. Grades of Iranian saffron are strongest grade. Iran is responsible for %90 of global production.

Saffron or zafaran comes from Persian word ‘ Zarparan’ meaning flower with golden petal. Saffron is one of essential spices in Iranian baking and cooking. This lovely spice is used in dishes such as different stews or rice dishes. Saffron is known as king of spices. Other countries such as Spain and Keshmir are known for their saffron too.

Ingredients

  • ¼ tsp saffron
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¼ cup rose water
  • 1tbsp boiled water
  • ½ lemon juice

 

How to make it??

Using a pestle and mortar, add pinch of sugar or small piece of solid sugar and saffron threads. Mash it ( as you see in the photos).

 

In a small cup or bowl, first pour preheated water and then add mashed saffron. Seal the bowl with a lid and allow to steep for 15 minutes. Adding sugar to saffron will help release the best colour and also aromatic components.

 

Meanwhile, mix sugar, lemon juice and water in a pot and bring it to a boil until sugar dissolve. Add rose water and simmer for 5 minutes.

Then turn off the heat and add saffron water to the sugar syrup. Allow to cool.

 

You might serve your drink in a plane glass or you can rimming your glasses. For this purpose, mix lemon zest and sugar together. Moist rim of the glass with lemon juice and dip into the lemon zest.

 

For serving, add 2-3 tbsp of saffron syrup to a glass with a cup of cold water.
