My Deadly Chocolate Cake

If you are chocolate cake lover, anything you want from a chocolate cake is right here: Most dangerous, most wanted, most delicious cake. The texture is soft, gooey, moist and rich.

I am sharing my chocolate cake recipe :). You can make just one layer cake or bake layer cakes.

Ingredients

  • 80g plain flour

  • 150g white sugar

  • 50g coca powder

  • 60g melted buttermilk

  • ¼ tsp baking powdered

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • 1 whole egg

  • 125ml hot milk

  • 2tbsp coffee

  • pinch of salt

  • 200g dark chocolate

  • 150 cream cheese

  • 100g white sugar

  • 50ml milk

  • 1tbsp coca powdered

  • Bourbon biscuit

How to make it??

Preheat the oven to 180C degrees. In a large bowl mix together all dry ingredients. Add melted butter or oil and combine it.

Then add 2tbsp coffee and hot milk to the mixture and mix until come together. Maybe you ask why hot milk? Well, for dissolving of coca powder. Now add egg and stir in until combined.

Line the two pans with flour and then line the bottom of pans with parchment paper. Divide batter among the two pans. Bake for 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.

Cool on wire racks for 5 minutes and then turn them over and let to cool completely.

Now we make chocolate sauce: In a pot with milk, add sugar and allow to dissolve. Let to boil for 5 minutes on a low heat. After 5 minutes, add coca powder, mix together. Remove from the heat, transfer to a bowl and set aside.

Now we need to prepare chocolate ganache. Melt the chocolate and add soft cheese. Mix until well blended.

Poke some holes with the toothpick in one of the cakes and spoon over that chocolate sauce and add some of chocolate ganache and spread all over the cake.

Place the second cake and spread remaining of the chocolate ganache on the came. Top it with some crushed cookies and chopped strawberries.

No bake cookies with peanut butter

Sometimes no bake desserts will come handy in Summer season and warm weather. No need to heat up your kitchen by using the oven or gas stove.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups oat flour
  • ¾ cup peanut butter
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¾ cup dark or white chocolate, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

How to make it?

line a large plate with parchment paper and set aside. Add Peanut butter and honey to a pan and melt together. Whisk until combine well.

Add peanut mixture, vanilla extract and salt to the oat flour. Combine all ingredients together until you have a sticky dough.

Using a medium ice cream scoop or 2 tbs of the dough into your hand and roll it into a ball and drop onto parchment lined plate. Gently press the dough to make a flat cookie.

Once all cookies are done, place the plate in the fridge for an hour until cookies to set.

Meanwhile, melt the white or dark chocolate . After an hour, dip each of cookies in the melted chocolate and return them in the fridge and let stand until firm. 

 Store tightly covered for a week..

No bake watermelon cake

I was at a party and our host served watermelon cake but not a regular cake with flour, baking powder, eggs, milk,…. It was simply fresh watermelon with an amazing arrangement. I just loved it. It was soooo refreshing, no baked, healthy and fruity.

I have never seen and heard about this cake. It is very simple and easy to prepare . For decoration and topping the cake, there are so many different options.

I used strawberries, grapes, flake almonds , flake chocolates and shaved coconuts but you can use other fruits and nuts so it’s your choice.

Ingredients

  • one watermelon

  • 500ml whipped cream

  • 2 tbps white sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 lemon zest

  • Nuts and fruits for decoration

  • Shredded coconuts

  • Food colouring

How to make it

Taking off top and bottom of the watermelon. Slice off the rind. Then cut white parts on the watermelon and set aside.

Put cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest in a mixing bowl and beat it until firm. You can use white cream but I added some food colours to the cream.

Now it is time for fun part. Put the cream on the watermelon and cover it.

Add some fruits at the bottom of the cake. Decorate top of the cake with chocolate and fruits. For the sides of the cake I used shredded coconuts . That’s it. Done 🙂

Almond chocolate muffins

These almond muffins are easy to make , very rich and keeps well for next few days.

Ingredients
3 eggs
300g marzipan ( %25)
85g butter
60g cocoa powder
Strawberry jam


Preparation
First of all preheat oven to 165 C. Put the marzipan and cocoa powder in a big bowl and mix it with your hand. Then, Transfer marzipan mixture to the bowl of food processor.

Crack the eggs and add eggs to the mixture one by one and slowly. Mix it after each egg addition. Melt butter and add it to the bowl. Grease inside the cup cakes tray. Put 2 tbs of cake mixture inside each cup. Bake it in the oven for about 12 minutes.
Dusting your cakes with icing sugar.

Rainbow Cookies

I just loved my rainbow cookies. Very quick, easy recipe for super cute cookies. There was feast of colour in my kitchen.

Ingredients

3 cups all purpose flour

¾ cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup softened butter

1tbsp vanilla extract

2 eggs

¾ tsp baking soda

Food colouring

½ tsp salt

Method

Preheat the oven to 175C degree.

In a bowl with butter add white and brown sugar. Blend until is fluffy. Then add eggs and vanilla extract. Blend until is smooth.

Add flour, salt and baking soda to the mixture and mix all together. Once the dough is mixed, divide it into 4-5 bowls.

Dye the dough by adding drops of food colouring to each dough.

Cover the baking tray with baking paper. Using a cookie scoop and take a portion of dough and pop it on tray. You can have one colour cookie OR mix different doughs together. Pop Smarties and chocolate chips top of cookies.

Bake them in the oven for about 10-12 minutes.

They will stay fresh for a minimum a week and you can also freeze them for sometimes later.

Chocolate soup

Valentine’s day is a celebration of romance in many countries around the world. In Iran from ancient times there is an Iranian festival that is known as the Iranian Day of Love (Sepandarmazgaan) that on 24th Feb and it was a special feast of the women and girls. Men used to make them presents, all women and girls were treated as queens and whatever they demanded would be done by their men.

Chocolate soup

Few years ago I had one of my best hot chocolate in Cafe Wedle, in Warsaw. It was just a piece of heaven. Very rich, with different flavours and served along with a glass of warm water. Because hot chocolate was soooo rich and my lips were sealed. So I though the following recipe ‘ Chocolate soup’ would be a lovely dessert for Day of Love .

Show me a person who does not like chocolate, or maybe there is someone who hate chocolate? If you hate chocolate, I have a good news. With this recipe you will be a serious chocolate lover. It’s basically pure liquid hot chocolate served in a bowl, jar or a wee pot.

. In some recipes with adding thickening agent such as cornstarch and egg yolk, make a thick hot chocolate. But I personally prefer to use more chocolate as a thickener and make a rich hot chocolate. Just do not forget to use good and healthy dark chocolate Brands.

Ingredients

500ml milk

400g good dark chocolate

1tbsp cocoa powdered

1tbsp food flavouring ( mint, strawberry, rose)

Method

Heat the milk in a large pot until boiling. Drop the chocolate into the boiling milk and stir until chocolate melts and smooth.Add the cocoa powder and food flavouring to the melted chocolate, stir together until it becomes a smooth paste and remove from the heat.Serve it hot in a jar, bowl or a wee pot. Garnish with pieces of cookies or biscuits.

Tasty chocolate rice krispies

These yummy chocolate rice krispies just needs three ingredients to be prepared, easy peasy.

Ingredients

300 g milk chocolate

200 g Nutella

100 g rice krispies

Preparation

Bring water to a boil in the pot. Place a bowl on top of the pot and melt chocolate in the bowl. Add Nutella and let to melt together. Once it’s melted remove from the heat. Now add rice krispies to the chocolate mixture and combine together.

Pour the mixture into the moulds and leave it in the fridge for 2 hours until cool and firm. After 2 hours, remove chocolate rice krispies from the mould and enjoy it. You can freeze and store them for good 2-3 weeks.
