Onion omelette muffins

These egg muffins are so good, moist and delicious. Obviously you can make omelette in different way. For instance my mother used to fry sliced onions, mix with eggs and make a delicious fried onion omelette, wrap it by tortilla bread ( lavash bread) and go on.

I just tried same omelette recipe in muffin cups, and result of my effort looks very nice.




2 eggs

1 large onion, peeled and thinly sliced

salt, pepper to taste

Butter or vegetable oil


How to make it

Fry sliced onion in a pan until golden brown. Put fried onion into the  muffin cups (no need to fill cups up, just half way). Crack an egg top of each cup, sprinkle salt and pepper. Put in oven with 200C and cook for 15-120 minutes.


مافین املت پیازسرخ شده

مافین املت های پیازی که امروز تهیه کردم خیلی خوشمزه و ترد با ظاهر قشنگ هستن. میدونم که میدونید املت رو میشه به روش‌های مختلف تهیه کرد. مثلن مادرم پیاز رو سرخ میکرد و با تخم مرغ یک املت خیلی خوشمزه درست میکرد و لای نون تافتون یا لواش برامون لقمه میگرفت. من هم همون دستور تهیه رو در قالب مافین کیک درست کردم. مزه که همون قدر خوشمزه هست – ظاهرش هم خیلی قشنگه.


مواد لازم

دو عدد تخم مرغ

یک عدد پیاز درشت خلالی خرد شده

نمک و فلفل به میزان لازم

کره یا روغن مایع


طرز تهیه

پیاز خرد شده را سرخ می‌کنیم تا طلایی بشه. داخل قالب‌های مافین رو تا نیمه با پیاز سرخ شده پر .

می‌کنیم و روی هر کدوم یک تخم مرغ می شکنیم

نمک و فلفل روی تخم مرغ ها می زنیم ...

داخل فر با حرارت 200 درجه ی سانتیگراد برای 20-15 دقیقه میپزیم.

I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother. Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
