Pistachio balls

Pistachio balls with different flavours are lovely and healthy snacks.



225g pistachio

225g dried milk powder

850ml water

2tbsp rose water

100g sugar

1tsp cardamom powder

1tsp saffron water



Put water in a pot and bring it to a boil and remove it from the heat. Soak the pistachios in boiled water for 5 minutes.

Drain the pistachios. Using a food processor and process the pistachios. Add dried milk powder, rose water, saffron water and cardamom to the ground pistachios and mix well.

Roll the mixture into the balls and then roll in the sugar for sugar coating.


توپک پسته

توپک های پسته با طعم های مختلف میان وعده ی سالم و خوشمزه ای هست که به راحتی در خانه میشه تهیه کرد.

مواد لازم

دویست و بیست و پنج گرم پسته ی بدون نمک

دویست و بیست و پنج گرم پودر شیرخشک

هشت صدو پنجاه میلی لیتر آب

دو ق غ گلاب

صد گرم شکر سفید

یک ق چ پودر هل

یک ق چ آب زعفران


طرز تهیه

آب را در یک قابلمه به جوش میاریم وقتی شروع به جوشیدن کرد از روی حرارت بر می‌داریم و پسته را برای 5 دقیقه در آبجوش میگذاریم بمونه.

بعد از پنج دقیقه پسته هارو خشک میکنیم و داخل غذاساز خرد می‌کنیم ( نیازی نیست که کاملن خرد بشه حتی بجای غذاساز داخل هاون هم کمی بکوبید کافی هست). پسته خرد شده را با پودر شیر خشک – آب زعفرانهل و گلاب مخلوط می‌کنیم تا یک خمیر منسجم و چسبناک داشته باشیم.

خمیر را به شکل توپ‌های قل قلی در میاریم و در شکر غلط می دیم ولی می تونید در پودر کاکائو هم غلط بدید.

Iranian food is a celebration of flavor, colour and spices such as: saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, dried rose petals, dried limes, cumin, .... I share my recipes in Farsi/English along with step by step photos of preparation. I take all my own pictures. I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother. Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
