Orange cake

I love orange: orange oil, orange aroma, orange jam or marmalade, and orange cake. My today cake with orange flavour and nice texture, is perfect and beautiful cake.

200g plain flour
200g unsalted butter
200g sugar
150g orange jam or marmalade
3 eggs
2 Tsp baking powder
3 Tbsp orange juice



Preheat the oven at 180C.
Whisk the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs (one at a time), until combined. Add flour, baking powder, orange juice and 100 g of orange jam or marmalade.

Line a tin with baking paper. Pour flour mixture into the tin, and bake for 50 minutes.
Once cake is ready, brush remaining of the orange jam on the baked cake and enjoy this tasty cake.


کیک پرتقال
من عاشق پرتقال و هر چیزی که با پرتقال تهیه میشه هستم. روغن پرتقال- کرم یا عطر با بوی پرتقال- مربای پرتقال یا کیک پرتقال. کیک امروز من کیک پرتقالی هست که خیلی سبک و ترد و البته با طعم خیلی پرتقالیییییییی.

مواد لازم

دویست گرم آرد

دویست گرم کره ی بدون نمک

دویست گرم شکر

صدوپنجاه گرم مارمالاد پرتقال

سه عدد تخم مرغ

دو ق چ بیکینگ پودر

سه ق غ آب پرتقال

طرز تهیه
فر را با حرارت 180 درجه ی سانتیگراد گرم کنید..
کره را با شکردر همزن مخلوط کنید تا غلیظ بشه. تخم مرغ ها را دونه دونه اضافه کرده و مخلوط کنید . سپس آرد- بیکینگ پودر- آب پرتقال و 100 گرم از مربا یامارمالاد پرتقال رو به مایع کیک اضافه کنید و همه ی مواد را با هم همزده و مخلوط کنید.
کف و دیواره های قالب کیک رو کمی چرب کنید و با کاغذ آشپزی بپوشونید. مایع کیک رو داخل قالب بریزید. برای 50 دقیقه کیک را بپزید.
وقتی کیک آماده شد – بگذارید سرد بشه و بعد از قالب خارج کنید. با یک برس آشپزی- روی کیک باقیمانده ی مربای پرتقال رو بمالید.

I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother. Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
