Paratha flat bread is a beautiful, delicious pan fried Indian naan. It is my first time that i baked Paratha bread and it was amazingly tasty bread.
3 cups plain flour
2 tsp salt
Ghee or butter
In a big bowl, mix flour with salt. Add egg. Add water little by little until you make sure is enough to make a dough. Combine well together and make the dough.
Cover the dough with a kitchen cloth and place it in the fridge for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, divide the dough into 4 balls.
Put one dough on a floured surface. Roll it out by rolling pin. spread the ghee all over the dough. Sprinkle with flour.
Fold the dough into thin layers. Roll it (as you see in the photos) and tuck it. Brush them with melted ghee. Put them in the fridge for 30 minutes rest.
Again using rolling pin, roll the dough out. Heat a pan. Place the dough into the pan. Cover it with ghee.
Bake one side, and flip over to bake other side. While it is baking you would see layers of bread, it is so beautiful.
