Date energy balls

These peanuts-orange date balls no need to bake. Very easy to make them and are just yummy and perfect for snacking and good choice for vegan and vegetarians.



2 cups soft dates, pitted
1 cup salted peanuts or other nuts such as walnuts-pistachio, almonds, cashew
1 cup oat
1 large orange



Place dates, peanuts, oat and orange zest into a blender or food processor. Process for 2-3 minutes until crumbly.

Remove from processor and then roll tablespoons of mixture between your hands to form balls.
Put them on a plate. You can serve it plane or roll them in cinnamon powder, cocoa powder, dried rose petals, chilli powder or coconut powder. Store the date balls in a container in the fridge.


توپک های خرمایی

این توپک های خرمایی که با بادام زمینی و پوست پرتقال تهیه شدن بسیار آسان و بدون پخت درست میشن. یک میان وعده ی بسیار سالم و خوشمزه هستن که برای افراد وگان هم گزینه ی بسیار مناسبی میتونه باشه.

مواد لازم
دو پیمانه خرمای نرم و هسته گرفته
یک پیمانه بادام زمینی نمکدار یا هر مغز دیگرمثل گردو – بادام – پستهیا بادام هندی
یک پیمانه جو دوسر پرک شده
یک پرتقال درشت

طرز تهیه

خرما هارا همراه با بادام زمینی – پوست رنده شده ی پرتقال و جو دوسر داخل غذاساز یا مخلوط کن ریخته و برای دو سه دقیقه تا کاملن له شوند.

مواد مخلوط و له شده را از داخل غذاساز بیرون آورده و در اندازه ی قاشق چایخوری بین دو دست قرار داده و به صورت توپک های قل قلی در آورید. می‌توانید توپک ها را به همین صورت سرو کنید و یا با مغزها یا ادویه های مختلفی مثل پودر 
دارچین – پودر کاکاو – پودر نارگیل و یا پودر فلفل تزیین کنید.
توپک های آماده شده را می تونید داخل ظرف های درپوش دار قرار داده و در یخچال برای مدتی نگه داری کنید.

Iranian cuisine is a combination of rice with meat ( chicken, beef, lamb, fish, turkey), nuts, fruits, dried and fresh herbs and vegetables. Iranian food is a celebration of flavor, colour and spices such as: saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, dried rose petals, dried limes, cumin, .... I share my recipes in Farsi/English along with step by step photos of preparation. I take all my own pictures. I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother. Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
