Spicy fried potatoes

This spicy potatoes with aromatic spices, looks beautiful and easy to prepare.



Spicy fried potatoes
200 g baby potatoes
50 g butter
1 Tsp cumin
1 Tsp ground coriander
1/3 Tsp chilli flakes
Salt to taste



Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes’ and cook until tender. Drain cooked potatoes.








Melt the butter in a pan, add all above mentioned spices and fry for 1 minute until fragrant. Tip in cooked potatoes and toss until they are coated with spices. Then fry potatoes for few minutes and SERVE it.

دویست گرم سیب زمینی ریز

پنجاه گرم کره

یک ق چ پودر زیره

یک ق چ پودر  گشنیز

کمی فلفل خشک

نمک به میزان لازم

طرز تهیه
در یک قابلمه مقداری آب را با نمک مخلوط کرده و بجوش آورید. سیب زمینی هارا تا زمان نرم شدن بپزند. کره را در تابه گرم کرده و تمام ادیه های اشاره شده در بالا را برای 1 دقیقه در کره سرخ نمایید. سپس روی سیب زمینی ها ریخته و خوب سیب زمینی ها را با ادویه ی تفت داده شده مخلوط کنید و مجدد برای 5 دقیقه دیگر سیب زمینی ها را سرخ کرده و نوش جان کنید.

Iranian food is a celebration of flavor, colour and spices such as: saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, dried rose petals, dried limes, cumin, .... I share my recipes in Farsi/English along with step by step photos of preparation. I take all my own pictures. I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother. Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
