Crispy brown onions

In Persian cuisine, onion has a special place and more or less in most of recipes we  use onions.
Sometimes it is easier to prepare fried onions and keep them for the time you need.


Crispy brown onions
2 onions
Plain flour
Vegetable oil


Peel off onions. Cut top and bottom of onions. Slice them thinly as much as possible. Heat the oil. Lightly coat slice onions in the flour. Then, deep fry them for few minutes, until they are golden brown. Then Put them on paper towel. That’s it. Done.


پیاز داغ یا پیاز سرخ شده

در آشپزی ایرانی پیاز جایگاه ویژه ای داره و کم و زیاد در بیشتر غذاهای ایرانی کاربرد داره. گاهی اوقات آسانتر هست که پیاز داغ رو از قبل آماده و در زمان نیاز استفاده کرد.

مواد لازم

دو عدد پیاز درشت




طرز تهیه
پوست پیاز هارا گرفته و سرو ته آنها را جدا کنید. تا حد امکان پیاز ها را بسیار نازک و خلالی خرد نمایید. خیلی کم در آرد مخلوط کنید . در یک قابلمه مقدارمناسبی روغن ریخته و بگذارید خوب داغ شود و سپس پیاز های خلالی را در روغن داغ به مدت چند دقیقه سرخ نموده و سپس روی دستمال کاغذی قرار دهید تا روغن اضافی جذب شود. به همین سادگی و به همین قشنگی پیاز سرخ شده آماده هست

Iranian cuisine is a combination of rice with meat ( chicken, beef, lamb, fish, turkey), nuts, fruits, dried and fresh herbs and vegetables. Iranian food is a celebration of flavor, colour and spices such as: saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, dried rose petals, dried limes, cumin, .... I share my recipes in Farsi/English along with step by step photos of preparation. I take all my own pictures. I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother. Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
